Information for correctional and reintegration center administrators who want to request our financial education workshops for their population.
Our workshops are available to correctional facilities and social reintegration centers in Veracruz. The process is straightforward, and our team handles coordination from the first contact through delivery.
Workshop requests must come from the official administration of a correctional or social reintegration center. Individual participants do not need to apply. If you are a person who would like to attend a workshop, please speak with your facility's educational or social work coordinator.
Reach out by phone or email to express interest. Our institutional liaison will respond within five business days to schedule an initial conversation.
We discuss the profile of participants, available space, scheduling constraints, and any specific topics your population may benefit from most.
We establish a written collaboration agreement with the center's administration. This covers access protocols, scheduling, and the scope of the workshop program.
Our facilitators arrive on the agreed schedule. Sessions are typically 90 minutes each, covering one module per session, with a complete cycle running over several weeks.
Here is a general overview of what each workshop cycle covers. Content can be adapted based on the specific needs of each facility.
| Module | Topic | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Module 1 | Money basics: income, expenses, and needs vs. wants | 90 min. |
| Module 2 | Building a simple personal budget | 90 min. |
| Module 3 | The banking system: how it works and how to enter it | 90 min. |
| Module 4 | Documents needed to open a bank account upon release | 90 min. |
| Module 5 | Government employment programs and how to access them | 90 min. |
| Module 6 | Government microcredit options: requirements and processes | 90 min. |
We handle the content and facilitation. Centers provide the space and logistical support to make sessions possible.
A room that can accommodate a group of participants, with enough space for seating and basic movement. Classroom-style setup is ideal, but we can adapt to available conditions.
Sessions work best when they happen on a regular, predictable schedule. We ask for a minimum commitment of one session per week over the workshop cycle.
A designated staff member at the center who coordinates with our liaison, manages access, and communicates any scheduling changes or needs.
Our workshops are provided at no cost to participating centers or to participants. Zysvhari Foundation covers all facilitation costs. We are a nonprofit organization and do not charge fees for our educational programs.
